At Unroll, we believe in creating apparel that stands the test of time. By choosing high-quality materials and craftsmanship, our products are made to last longer than cheap alternatives.
For our core apparel range we only use organic cotton and recycled polyester.
Our organic cotton meets the Global Organic Cotton Standard and Oekotex standards.
Organic cotton is:
• grown from non-genetically modified seeds
• cultivated without harmful chemicals
The use of organic cotton leads to preserving soil quality & drinking water around the cotton fields.
This way, the water used for cultivating cotton is not considered as lost and can be re-used again. Non-chemical residu water also improves the natural biodiversity, since animals living around the cotton fields can also live off this chemical-free water. Organic cotton ensures traceability from post-harvesting of the raw material to the final consumer.
Globally, only 1.4% of the cotton used is organic.
The Oekotex label means that every little component of a garment, even the buttons and threads have been tested for harmful substances and is safe for humans to use.
Additionally, our recycled polyes-ter meets GRS standards and is made from post-consumer PET bottles. The dyes and finishes we use are Oekotox approved, guaranteeing that our products are safe from harmful substances.
Our suppliers from our core range are Fair Wear members where they have the ‘leader’ status. Fair Wear memberships guarantees that employment is freely chosen, there is no discrimination on the workfloor, the workhours are reasonable and guarantees that the workers get a fair wage.
